Prayer precedes the power of God.
What is Month of Prayer?
This February, we are setting aside the entire month to seek the Lord together as a church through intentional and focused prayer. Our desire is to grow in dependence on God, deepen our love for Christ, and ask boldly for God to work in and through our church for His glory. Scroll down for more information on how to join us in this Month of Prayer.
What to expect this month
Night Of Prayer & Worship
Join us in kicking off our Month of Prayer 2026 with an all church Night of Prayer & Worship on Sunday, February 1st, 5:30pm at Cox Elementary! Jon Kang, the Minister of Worship at Church at the Cross will lead us in worship and Pastor James and our elders lead focused times of prayer throughout the gathering. Adults will enjoy coffee and desserts while the children will be provided dinner in childcare. Registration is only required for those looking to take advantage of childcare. Click the button below for registration and more information.
Wednesday Morning Prayer
Join us on Wednesday mornings at 6:30am-7:15am in The Hangar for our weekly morning prayer gatherings. These gatherings will be simple, Scripture led, and centered on seeking God together before the day begins. After a brief time of worship, we will group together and pray through a set of provided prayer prompts led by one of our elders. You can expect coffee and donuts, but childcare is not provided for these morning prayer gatherings. Click the button below for more information.
1-2-3 Prayer Initiative
We are calling the entire church to engage in daily, personal prayer by taking part in the 1-2-3 Prayer Initiative! Here’s the breakdown:
1 - Fast from ONE meal each week of February to spend a focused time seeking God’s face in prayer!
2 - Daily set aside TWO ten minute periods each day to pray for the various prayer needs submitted by others in the church on the digital prayer wall below!
3 - Daily pray for THREE people that you know are lost and in need of salvation!

Digital Prayer Wall
We prioritize prayer, year round, and ask ourselves, why prayer?
We must become a praying people to experience God’s renewal in our lives.
Helping people meet and follow Jesus is an impossible vision apart from prayer. If we are going to experience God renewing our lives and relationships and using us as instruments of renewal in the world, we must become a praying people.
PRAYER GATHERINGS
Throughout the year, our church unites in intentional rhythms of prayer. These include our weekly Worship Gatherings, quarterly “Revive” worship nights, “Month of Prayer” in February, and the Pre-Service Prayer Group that meets every Sunday from 8:15-8:45am. Through these prayer gatherings, we come together as a church to pray and ask God to do what only He can do.
